To be sure, in light of the pandemic, the change is accelerating and the path to future jobs and careers will look different than it did even a few months ago. We are a nation that has a robust and capable workforce that needs a new road map. American workers agree. They are concerned and looking for answers. In the first WorkingNation American Workers Survey, conducted in August 2020 by FIL, we interviewed 800 people representing a sample of the nation’s demographics, including age, gender, partisanship, education, and income, and here is some of what they told us.
